Lessons
Small classes with qualified volunteer instructors, for every age and level. Disabled visitors are welcome and we run regular sessions for local groups.
How booking works. Members book online at least 4 hours before a lesson starts. Non-members cannot pre-book but can call or turn up on the day. Open practice is for members only.
Find your class
For children, ask the club to confirm evening lesson and snowboarding suitability. Always confirm a session in Eola before travelling.
Tell us the age and level and we will show the weekly classes that fit. Not sure of your level? The chart below explains each one.

| Level | What you can do |
|---|---|
| Starter | You have never skied before. |
| Level 1 | You can put your skis on and off, climb a gentle slope sideways and ski down in a plough, stopping when you need to. |
| Level 2 | You control speed and direction on the nursery slope in a plough, make big and small turns and can use the tow. |
| Level 3 | You ski faster and start turns in a plough and finish with skis parallel, linking a series of turns. |
| Level 4 | Your skis run parallel earlier in each turn and you are happy on all of the main slope. |
| Level 5 | You make parallel turns consistently and are working on balance and posture. |
| Level 6 | You use a coordinated pole plant to improve balance and timing, with smoother, more rhythmical turns. |
| Level 7 | You tackle steeper terrain and vary the shape of your turns while staying in control. |
