Pendle roots. World Cup dreams. A story this club is proud to call its own.
DAVE “THE ROCKET” RYDING
From Pendle Hill
to the world stage.
Dave Ryding’s skiing story began on the dry slope at Pendle. In 2022, his slalom victory at Kitzbühel put that journey on the World Cup’s top step.
For Pendle, it is a story about what can grow from a local club: good coaching, a place to practise and the determination to keep turning up.
His roots here remain a proud part of the club’s identity. The next skier stepping onto our plastic might simply want a great holiday—or might be at the start of something bigger.
